Don’t judge a woman by her ponytail…

I was once like you. I would see a mom with 3 kids, her hair up in a ponytail and I’d think to myself… Bless her heart, she doesn’t have time to do her hair.  This weekend I experienced something that changed my whole outlook on ponytails.

I washed my hair like I always do. I dried it so it wouldn’t be curly (ish) I put my hair in rollers, took them out and styled my hair.  5 minutes later I go to grab my son and my new immediate reaction  before I take him is to put my hair in a ponytail.

This reaction is purely for necessity.  You see, my son loves to pull my hair. I’m not talking just a little bit. I’m talking will make me cry. So to keep my hair in my head, I put it up.

Next time you see me with my hair up, know that its purely functional not fashion that is making this decision for me. I have plenty of time to do my hair, I just prefer to keep it in my head. =)
